Umang Patel

Umang Patel is a Carnegie Mellon graduate and entrepreneur who began his career in tech, founding PayTango, a Y Combinator-backed startup that launched innovative fintech products. He later transitioned into the entertainment industry, following his passion to build Masala Events—an event production company that delivered events across 21 cities, 15 states, and 4 countries last year. Umang draws on Jain principles as a framework for understanding human nature, which he believes is essen-tial to creating meaningful and joyful experiences.
