Jains Got Talent Guidelines

Contest Timeline

JGT Registration has been Closed as of March 24th  2025. If you have registered JGT Team will send mail to your register mail id for requesting to upload the video link to it.

Steps to register for JGT:

  1. First, register for JAINA Convention 2025.
  2. Next, register for Jains for Talent (JGT) for SOLO or GROUP Performance (see below).
  3. Attach your audio/video clip at the end of this form. If the audio/video clip is not yet ready while you are submitting the form, then you may skip the upload part for now and click the SAVE button at the end of the form and you will be directed to a link that you can use to upload the files later. Make sure to save this link for your future reference.

3 Rounds of Jains Got Talent:

  1. Submit a 3-5 min virtual entry (audio/video clip), including an introduction by April 19, 2025. Selected contestants will be notified by email for the semi-final round where they can upload the background music for their semi-final and final performances by May 1st, 2025. If the music track for the final performance is different than the semi-final performance, then you can send a separate track for the final performance, but please make sure to label the semi-final and final music track correctly within the file names.
  2. Semi-Final rounds will be held at the Convention Center on July 3rd afternoon and July 4th morning. Please plan to arrive by July 3rd afternoon if you are selected for the semi-finals. If there is any change in the timeline, then we will notify you.
  3. The Grand Finale of performances will be announced at the Convention. Final performance time is currently to be determined. Performers will be performing in categories based on age grouping. Only qualifiers will get notified if they are selected for the next round of performance. Everyone who enters in the semi-final round will receive a certificate of participation in JGT and the top performers will receive appropriate awards.

Detailed Guidelines (Please read thoroughly)

  1. To participate in Jains Got Talent, you must register for the JAINA convention first via this link:  https://www.jainaconvention.org/. Once you have registered for the conference, please see the direct link to apply for your specific type of performance.
  2. Participants are encouraged to incorporate the theme of 2025 JAINA Convention – “Unity in Diversity: A Path to Peace” in their performance, as this will be a factor in scoring.
  3. Jains Got Talent will have three age categories divided into solo and group performances. Group performances are limited to 2-7 participants. Each performance is limited to 5 minutes including entry, introduction and exit.
  4. Age Groups are defined as below:
    Age group 1: 17 years and under
    Age group 2: 18-40 years
    Age group 3: 41 years and above
  5. Participants will compete with others in their age group. You may participate in up to one solo and one group performance. Any type of performance or talent is allowed (magicians, comedians, dancers, singers, everyone is welcome!). JGT/JAINA reserves the right to merge or add any age groups based on the number of entries we receive (limited or many entries), which we will communicate if it arises.
  6. If you are performing in both a solo and group performance, then please register for each one of them using different devices, as it may not be allowed from the same device.
  7. While filling out the form, please provide your convention registration number (CRN # assigned during registration). You will not be able to participate if you have not registered for the JAINA Convention 2025. You can find this number by logging in with your email address that you used to register for the convention, at this link: JAINA Convention Login.
  8. On the performance date, please bring any stage props/instruments that you plan to use with you. Please notify us in advance with details on prop, which should be JAINA Convention appropriate. If you will need any help with the stage set up then please let us know in advance to save time on stage.
  9. If using media, please provide a copy via USB in advance of your performance on the day of so we can set up background music for you. Ensure you have a backup copy if needed. Please use your best judgment to determine the appropriateness of the media you plan to use. When you upload the audio/video, ensure it is virus free and in the format request with high resolution for video minimum 1080P (not 4k or 720P).
  10. No footwear is allowed on stage during your performance if you plan to use Bhagwan’s idol or pictures on stage.

Note:  Forms must have the required fields filled in properly to be considered in the JGT Program.
