Pankajkumar K. Shah is an international consultant specializing in nuclear power plant design, holding Master of Science degrees in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, alongside an MBA from top U.S. universities. Through Magnus Engineering Services, he provides expert engineering services for nuclear reactor vessels and other critical components.

Mr. Shah is a dedicated leader within the Jain community. He has been an active member of the Jain Center of Greater Boston, where he served as Jain Pathshala Director for eight years and Chairman of the Board for six years. Additionally, he is a committee member of the JAINA Academic Liaison Committee.

His significant contributions extend to the academic and literary realms of Jainism.

• He authored “Bridging the Cosmos – Ancient Jain Scriptures Revealed Through Modern Astronomy,” a pioneering work on Jain astronomy which was published by Motilal Banarasidas Publication House, New Delhi.

• Furthermore, he organized the First International Symposium of Jainism and Mathematics in 2020, co-editing its 2022 proceedings, “Mathematics in Ancient Jain Literature” which was published by the World Scientific, USA.

• In 2022, he also spearheaded the first symposium on the “Nirvan Dating of Jain Tirthankar Mahavir Swami” in Pune, India, editing and significantly contributing to the proceedings, published in 2024 which was published by Motilal Banarasidas Publication House, New Delhi.

• In June of 2025 he plans to publish “Essays of Ratnakumar Shah on Mathematics in Ancient Jain Scriptures” Edited by Pankaj K Shah by the Hindi Granth Karyalay, Mumbai.
